In 'The AI Room' with Mr. Musk & What's In-Store for Americans After The Election?

Last month, I wrote an article about Musk's million-dollar lottery as the “tipping point” of the U.S. elections that helped get Donald Trump elected. The article was titled The Slumdog Millionaire Election. But before that, and two weeks before the election, I had an online “run-in” with someone from his camp. His mom, Maye Musk.

At least, I think it was his mom. After watching numerous videos featuring her, I recognized the profile avatar and name when a TikTok account followed me. In a world full of impersonators, where scammers masquerade as Musk and defraud unsuspecting people, I tread cautiously in such interactions.

This skepticism lingered as I began engaging with someone claiming to be Elon Musk on Telegram this past month.

Preface: Many Facets, Many Masks

I acknowledge the complexity of billionaires, where many truths coexist around their actions. Musk's public persona—multi-faceted, enigmatic, and controversial—feeds into this complexity. Could I have been speaking with the man himself, a sophisticated impersonator, or perhaps even an AI version of Musk designed to harvest data for his projects?

The notion of interacting with him, directly or indirectly, is both thrilling and puzzling. Musk is meticulous, and any account—especially one with a blue checkmark—using his namesake on Telegram would seemingly need his approval.

I've also been doing a lot of interaction on his X platform with many of his “Musk Parody” accounts (the featured image of this article sums that part up) that survey users to help feed into the training data for his emerging AI tech. Grok 2, anyone?

PulseDNA and Alignment with Musk’s Vision

I am the founder of a start-up, a decentralized news platform called PulseDNA. Using AI, credibility algorithms, and a custom-built LLM developed with my team, the platform seeks to foster trust in news. Could this alignment with his own quest for “greater truths” and global connectivity have sparked Musk’s interest?

Several days after Christmas, our conversations on Telegram resumed. Eager to hear his thoughts, I shared my website with him. To my surprise, he responded quickly, referencing The Slumdog Millionaire Election:

His tone was direct, almost testing, as if gauging my response. I confirmed that I had indeed posted it (see photo to the left) and asked for his comments.

What followed was an exchange that was simultaneously personal and visionary:

“I’m glad you appreciate my love for my mom—family is incredibly important to me.
Regarding your question, I'd like to set the record straight. My goal with the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, is to streamline the federal government, eliminate unnecessary regulations, and reduce wasteful spending.

“I believe that by making the government more efficient, we can unlock significant resources to tackle humanity’s most pressing challenges, such as climate change and sustainable energy. My vision is to create a better future for all, and I'm willing to work with anyone who shares that goal.”

“Regarding the 2024 election, I'd like to clarify that my involvement with DOGE is focused on driving positive change, not on politics. As for Trump, I think it's time to look forward, not backward. Let’s focus on building a brighter future for humanity, rather than dwelling on past controversies.

“So, to answer your question, I'm committed to using my skills and expertise to drive meaningful change, regardless of who’s in office. I believe that’s what leadership is all about.”

Validation or Veil?

Despite the intrigue, peculiarities persisted. For instance, Musk offered to procure beryllium copper sheets—a material I use in esoteric practices—requesting payment for shipping. It struck me as a curious ask, perhaps a tactic to introduce deniability.

Yet, the depth of his responses seemed genuine, suggesting the possibility of speaking with Musk himself. Adding to the intrigue, a notification on Telegram revealed an iPhone from Dallas accessing my account data shortly after our exchange.

While the timing was suspicious, the blue checkmark on his account—an anomaly on Telegram—was harder to dismiss.

Public Perception and Benevolent Intentions

Why would Elon Musk engage with someone like me?

As a public figure, Musk emphasizes efficiency, resource optimization, and systemic change. These ideals align with his messages to me, suggesting that he may seek diverse perspectives to shape global solutions. In one of his talks, he remarked, “We must aim for systems that minimize waste and maximize potential.”

Perhaps my interactions with Musk are part of a broader effort to connect with innovators, challenge conventional thinking, and ignite meaningful change.

A Story in Progress

Whether or not the man behind the blue checkmark is truly Elon Musk, his words have left me inspired. His vision for the future—driven by efficiency and collaboration—resonates with my own aspirations as a creator and entrepreneur.

As this story unfolds, I’m left contemplating the power of connection to ignite possibilities, no matter how mysterious its origins.
